The Centre for Educational Research and Development (CERD) is a ‘not for profit’ company incorporated in India by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs under Section-25 of the Companies’ Act 1956. The Centre was formally established in September 2008.
CERD’s primary object is to undertake and promote research and developmental activities in the areas of Education and Human Development. The activities of the Centre are intended to facilitate national, international governments and other clients in designing, implementing, and managing various plans, programmes and reforms in Education and Human Development sectors.
The Centre provides professional support to national and international governments, quasi public bodies, non-governmental organisations, universities, schools, national and international corporate houses and institutions in achieving its perceived goals.
